A one-day workshop on Civic Education

One Day Workshop held at SZIC University of Peshawar

A one-day workshop on Civic Education and Madrassah Students was organized at SZIC in collaboration with Center for Research and Development and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.

The workshop was attended by a large number of students from both Madaris as well as by university students. The speakers included Prof. Dr. Rashid Ahmed, Sabookh Syed, Dr. Syed Irfan Ashraf and Dr. Qibla Ayaz. The participants were trained in the concepts of society, politics, civic engagement and constitutionalism. The representatives of FES Dr. Niels Hegewisch and Mr. Felix Kolbitz also attended and spoke at the event. At the end, certificates were distributed among the participants.
