The Message of Forbearance in Islam

A seminar on ‘The Message of Forbearance in Islam’ was held in the Conference Room of the Centre on May 13th, 2022 at 10.30 am. The distinguished speaker was Prof. Dr. Naeem Bukhari, Chairman Islamiyat Department Agriculture University Peshawar. He elucidated well on the topic through the Sunnah of the Prophet and reiterated to exercise self-control and patience in everyday life. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Rashad Ahmed Saljoq (Retd.), ex-Director SZIC was also present. The seminar was well-attended by the faculty and students. The Director, Prof. Dr. Rashid Ahmed in his concluding remarks added that difference of opinion is the spice of life and must be whole-heartedly accepted. He wished that students of the Centre may inculcate a spirit of critical inquiry and academic approach towards life. He appreciated the keen participation of the students and staff in the seminar.
